Maria Campos Sainez's Obituary
Maria C. Sainez died peacefully at Kaiser South San Francisco surrounded by family on March 30, 2019 at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by her daughter Maria Sainez-Reynoso, grandson John Reynoso and granddaughter Ana Sainez. She is survived by her husband, Pascasio Sainez, daughters Estela Sainez (Rebecca Perez, Angel Perez, Angel Perez Jr, Lorenzo Perez, Lucas Perez, Aiden Perez, Alicia Becerra, Victor Becerra), Martina Prado (Roberto Prado, Priscilla Gutierrez, Fernando Gutierrez, Arlette Gutierrez, Santana Gutierrez, Tiffany Gutierrez, Einstein Gutierrez, Antonio Gutierrez, Elijah Gutierrez, Alexandra Prado), Cheli Sainez (Joseph Dane), sons Noe Sainez (Daniel Sainez, Monica Chicas, Alex Chicas, Maricella Julian, Amelia Julian, Makaio Chicas, Angelo Chicas, Alexander Chicas), Robert Sainez (Rosemary Sainez, Rosanna Sainez, Angelina Sainez, Roberto Sainez Jr.), Hector Sainez (Amanda Sainez, Amanda Maria Sainez) and Refugio Sainez (Jessica Sainez, Natalia Sainez, Amaris Sainez) and granddaughter Nicole Reynoso (daughter of Maria Reynoso). Maria was born on February 2, 1933 in San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico to Tereso Campos and Maria de Jesus Padilla. Maria married Pascasio Sainez on November 25, 1952 and immigrated to the United States in 1963 where she spent the remainder of her life living in San Francisco with her family. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren remember her as a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who was strong, kind and gentle. She was also a devout Catholic who remembered everyone in her prayers. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019 from 5pm to 9pm at Skylawn Memorial Park (Hwy 92 at Skyline Blvd, San Mateo, CA 94402). A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, April 4th at 11am at Church of the Epiphany (827 Vienna St, San Francisco, CA 94112). Her final resting and burial will be at Skylawn Memorial Park (immediately following mass) with a reception to follow from 1pm to 5pm also at Skylawn Memorial Park. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Maria’s life. The family would like to thank all her caregivers and hospital staff for their efforts and care over the past two years.
