MARGARITA PALAFOX SANDOVAL, a native of Michoacán, Mexico, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the age of 80. She was a resident of Redwood City, Ca area since 1962.
She was a wonderful mother and friend. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. She cared deeply for her family and all that surrounded her. She was always there for us and the first to offer help. Margarita was a stay at home mom who enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren, and other children of friends and neighbors.
She will be remembered by her love of her grandchildren and family, sense of humor and toughness. She would go out of her way to help others in need. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, and playing cards with the family.
Margarita was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Jose Bustos Sandoval and by her eldest son Jose. She is survived by her four children, Juan (Catalina), Roselia (Martin), Robert (Silvia) and Gilbert (Flor); 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; and many loving family members and friends.
