Marcie Alabado's Obituary
Marcie Alabado of Milpitas passed Saturday, January 19 2013 at her home at the age of 87. She was born March 14, 1925 in Jinalinan, Barbaza, Antique Philippines. To Monsignor Fermin and Consorcia Nacionales. Sister of Prudencio, Fortunata, Lydia and Romy Sr. Marcie married Jeremias Alabado. She was educated in the Philippines and attended Philippine Women's College. Marcie worked as a Teacher, Electronics Assembler and as a Milpitas Crossing guard. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, watching TV, travel and shopping. Marcie is survived by her Children Mae Alabado Suan, Randy (Ditas) Alabado. She is also survived by her grandchildren Leo W. Suan and his wife Marimi, Great-grandchildren Joanna Suan, Ariel Suan and Leo Paul Suan, her brother Romy Sr. She is preceded in death by Jeremias Alabado, her siblings; Prudencio, Fortunata and Lydia. Marcie's care and love for family and friends was as beautiful as her smile. Everyone that had the pleasure to meet her will miss her presence. We are comforted in knowing she is blessedly resting. Funeral Services will be Saturday January 26, 2012 at Skylawn Funeral Home at 9:30 AM. Interment Skylawn Memorial Park. Reception will be held at Super Buffet 3830 Stevens Creek Blvd. San Jose CA. 95117 scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM. The family would like to thank- Vitas Hospice (S.F.) and their incredible staff for the care, comfort and support that they provided to our mother and our family.
