Lupe Salas' Obituary
Lupe Salas, age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in San Jose, with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Ismael Salas and their son Daniel Salas. Lupe is survived by two daughters, Delia Sanchez, spouse of Danny; Teresa Lopez spouse of Lorenzo (deceased); sons Albert Salas spouse of Carol; Tito Salas spouse of Leticia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great grandson.
Born on September 13, 1925 in East Los Angeles, Lupe married Ismael and moved their growing family to Mountain View in 1950. She later started her career as a dietician and nutrition specialist at El Camino Hospital where she worked for over 27 years. She was a phenomenal wife, mother and grandmother who was loved very much by her family.
Lupe will be remembered for her warm smile, laughter, and the love she had for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
