Cristina Causor-Kieninger
Luke was born on February 23, 1983, at Stanford Hospital, the first child of Tom and Pamela Kieninger. He took great pride in being a big brother to Richie Kieninger, whom he would do anything for.
Luke was hardworking and dedicated. He played an integral role in the family-owned business, where his skills, determination, and passion left a lasting impact. His work ethic was second to none, but what truly set him apart was the way he made those around him feel—valued, appreciated, and always welcome.
Luke met the love of his life, Cristina, and their connection was instant. In 2015, they married, beginning a beautiful journey together. He fully immersed himself in his big Mexican family and the vibrant traditions that came with it—whether it was lively gatherings filled with music and laughter or sharing home-cooked meals that brought everyone together. Their home was filled with love, joy, and an unbreakable bond, shared with their three cherished daughters—Angelina (21), Natalia (12), and Adriana (6). Luke’s greatest pride was the family they built together, and he embraced fatherhood with unwavering devotion and joy. Alongside his daughters, he also found a special place in his heart for Francisco, the son he never had, whom he loved and mentored as his own.
Luke had a fearless spirit and a zest for life. He found joy in fishing, riding motorcycles, hunting, golfing—you name it! But nothing brought him more happiness than being surrounded by his family and childhood friends. Whether it was a weekend on a houseboat or a family trip to Rosarito, he filled every moment with laughter and adventure. His stories will continue to bring smiles, and the memories he created will be cherished forever.
Above all, Luke was a man who made everyone feel like family. His warm heart and genuine kindness left an imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Although he now rests in peace, his love, strength and spirit will live on in those he leaves behind.
Luke’s presence in our lives was a gift and while we grieve his passing, we will celebrate the incredible man, husband, father, son, and friend that he was. The many memories will never fade.
