Luca Cingolani's Obituary
With great sadness, the family of Luca Cingolani, age 42, announces that he passed away on February 17. Luca was born in San Francisco on December 29, 1978 to Melodie (Bowsher) and Albert Francis Cingolani. He lived with his family in Millbrae and attended Millbrae Cooperative Nursery School followed by Green Hills Elementary and Mills High. He graduated from Capuchino High in 1997 and from San Francisco State University in 2012.
Luca was keenly interested in astronomy and a lifelong fan of the SF 49ers and SF Giants. He loved the outdoors — camping, fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking. Luca's greatest passion was snowboarding the Sierras surrounding Lake Tahoe. More than that, he loved his friends of which there were many and he was intensely loyal to them. He had a quick laugh, infectious sense of humor and was always the life of any party.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Michelson, his paternal grandparents Nanina (Annie Selli) Cingolani and Giusto (Chester) Cingolani, maternal grandparents Evelyn and Thomas Bowsher and uncle Tom Bowsher.
He is mourned. by a large and loving family including father Albert Cingolani, mother Melodie Michelson, sister Mia (Cingolani) Morris, brother-in-law Jared Morris, niece Hadley Morris and nephew Griffin Morris, aunt Nancy and uncle Walter Staltman, cousins Matthew and Nancy Leigh Staltman, Andrew Staltman, Gus Staltman, Oscar Staltman, aunt Rochelle Worthing and uncle Alan Worthing and others too numerous to mention.
