Lubertha Johnson, 96, of San Mateo, CA, passed away November 5, 2018.She was born in Gilbert, Louisiana on August 26, 1922. Lubertha Johnson graduated from Gilbert High School and received AA Degree from San Mateo Jr. College.She was married to Eligah Johnson on July 25, 1943.Lubertha Johnson worked at G & G Cleaners of San Mateo, CA for many years. Afterwards she left to become a crossing guard for San Mateo School District. She had a passion for bowling.She was survived by Richard Washington (son) and Rev. Andrea Howard-Washington (daughter-in-law); Grandchildren: Dorian Washington, Jmyya Washington, Ricky Washington, Anthony Washington, Dasmahata Washington (deceased) and a host of great-grandchildren; Brothers and sisters: 7 deceased siblings and 3 surviving siblings.Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00 A.M., November 14, 2018, at Trinity Baptist Church 39 E. 39th Ave, San Mateo, CA 94403.To leave an online condolence to the family, please visit our website at www.skylawn.com.
