Luan K. Lee's Obituary
Luan K. Lee passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2011 at the age of 87. He was born and raised in Singapore, the 5th of 14 children. He married wife Moey on December 7th, 1946, and immigrated to California in 1977. His children joined him soon afterwards, and he enjoyed the company of his children, grandchildren, and favorite dog Heidi over the next 34 years while living in San Jose and Milpitas. He lived his life by the ideals of his favorite poem, "Life is Pre-Destined."He is survived by his wife Moey and children Phyllis Tan, Lan Lee, Judy Chew, Seng Lee, Kew Horton, Geok Madewell, and Chee Lee who will all missed him dearly. He will also be missed by grandchildren Paul, Leona, Julia, Jeremy, Joanie, Samuel, Samantha, Jamie, and Joseph; sons-in-law Patrick Tan, Freddie Chew, and John Horton; grandson-in-law Arturo Fragoso; great granddaughter Angel; and his surviving sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Luan will be joining his daughter Mui Lee and granddaughter Penny Tan, who passed on before him. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband, caring father, and loving grandfather and great grandfather.The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Patrick Tan, who provided the deceased three weeks of untiring, loving, and excellent care; and to the Vitas Hospice Care staff for all their assistance.A close family graveside service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. atLifemark Center in Skylawn Memorial ParkHighway 92 at Route 35San Mateo, CA 94402
