Lourdes B. Adair was born on September 23, 1926 in the Philippines. She migrated to San Francisco in 1964 and remained in the Bay Area for the rest of her life. Lourdes loved animals. She was also a very good cook. She made very tasty Paella and her family looked forward to her stuffing every Thanksgiving.
Lourdes was most proud of her very large family. Her 11 children from the oldest to the youngest are Josephine Nubla, Bart Barredo, Butch Barredo, Mitos Talosig, Cecile Tolman, Corrito Bantilan, Marilou Lopez, the late Junior Barredo, Marissa San Juan, Willie Sparks and Carla Webb. Lourdes also had 33 grand children, 38 great grand children and 2 great great grand children.
Lourdes was the life of all parties she attended. She often said what kept her going were "the 3 C's" , Coffee, Cigarettes and Casinos. Her life motto was "I AIN'T WORRIED ABOUT NOTHING!" Lourdes fulfilled her family and friends with many happy memories and she will be sorely missed.
