Louis Ray LeBlanc's Obituary
Louis Ray LeBlanc left us on April 16, 2020 in Pleasanton CA. As an Awesome, Generous, and Loving Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, our “Daddy-O” is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 68 years, Helen Byrne LeBlanc, his grateful children: Rita LeBlanc Loureiro, Mitch LeBlanc, his wife Joanna Mason LeBlanc, Ricci LeBlanc, and his wife Victoria Bonde LeBlanc. “Pop Pop Louie” was so extremely proud of his 7 grandchildren: Sabrina, Adriana, Joey, Jensen, Alexa, Lindsay, Colin, and his 2 great grandsons Julian and Cruz. Dad was born in Costilla, New Mexico on August 24th, 1931 to Jose E. LeBlanc and Mary B. Santistevan LeBlanc. Dad graduated in 1949 from Mission High School in San Francisco. He served his country as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as a Local 438 Union Fire Sprinkler Fitter for over 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, older brother Arthur LeBlanc and younger sister Phyllis LeBlanc Ewing. Dad cherished his family, long time friends, and living in his first home with Mom in San Mateo for over 65 years. Dad belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Elk’s Club, and volunteered at St.Timothy’s Church in San Mateo.
So many of you who knew Dad have prayed, sent kind words & memories and we, his family; thank you so very much. Please always keep him in your hearts.
Closed private services due to the Coronavirus. A Celebration of His Life will occur and the date to be determined later in 2020.
