Ghazali, Linda's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Linda Sue Ghazali
April 10, 1950 – August 5, 2025
It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Linda Sue Ghazali, a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved sister, aunt, grandmother, and faithful friend. Linda passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and close friends—just as she lived, in warmth and grace.
Born on April 10, 1950, in Hayward, California, Linda was the treasured daughter of Albert and Angelina Alexander. From the beginning, Linda carried a spirit of compassion, strength, and quiet dignity that defined her life and inspired those who knew her.
Linda’s love for her family knew no bounds. She was a pillar of strength and comfort to her husband, a nurturing guide to her children, a loyal sister, a second mother to many nieces and nephews, and a deeply adored grandmother. Her family was the heart of her world, and through every stage of life, she gave her love selflessly and without condition.
Linda also gave her heart to countless others through her life’s work as a daycare provider for 43 years. She helped raise generations of children, many of whom continued to return to her with their own stories, gratitude, and families. Her home was more than a daycare—it was a place where children were seen, loved, and guided with patience, kindness, and wisdom. Her impact on young lives is immeasurable and lasting.
She had a special bond with teenagers, many of whom affectionately called her “OG” out of respect and love. She was known for being real, wise, and always willing to lend a listening ear or a word of truth. To them, she was more than an elder—she was someone who understood them, who gave them space to be themselves, and who offered guidance without judgment.
To her friends, Linda was a trusted confidant and source of light. She had the rare gift of making everyone feel truly seen and heard. Her gentle words, thoughtful advice, and calming presence left a mark that cannot be erased.
Whether through a warm meal, a quiet conversation, or a heartfelt embrace, Linda’s love was always present. Her home was a haven, her smile a comfort, and her soul deeply generous. She showed us how to live with grace, how to face life’s trials with courage, and how to love with an open and enduring heart.
Though her absence leaves a deep ache, Linda’s spirit will continue to live on in the lives she touched—in every story shared, every act of kindness passed forward, and every memory held close.
She is dearly missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered.
