Lily Wong's Obituary
Passed away peacefully at age 98 on July 26, 2022. A longtime resident of Sunnyvale, CA, she is
survived by her children Debbie (Gene) and Timothy (Roberta). She has five grandchildren:
Mark, Kristina (Michael), Lauren (Ryan), Ryan (Pang), and Jeffrey. Lily has 6 great
grandchildren: Maya, Natalie, Keira, Grant, Teagan, and Alexandria. Lily’s surviving brother is
George. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Don and her loving son Donald.
Donald was married to Michelle.
For most of her life, Lily was a homemaker. She did sell cosmetics with Avon, but Don
discovered he was allergic to the scents and smells. Her business was not very profitable. She
was so kind that she would give everyone a discount!
Lily loved to paint. She was a natural artist concentrating mostly on beautiful and colorful
flowers. Occasionally, she would paint lovely landscapes. Her medium was watercolor and
sometimes oils.
A service will be held on September 2, 2022, at the Pacific Chapel at Skylawn Funeral Home
and Memorial Park in San Mateo, CA at 10:00 A.M. The family is requesting that masks be
worn indoors.
Services are private. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations be made to the
Alzheimer’s Association or to the Salvation Army in Lily’s memory
