Lily Lew's Obituary
Lily Lew, age 79, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Though her earthly journey has come to an end, Lily has been welcomed into her eternal home with Jesus Christ. Surrounded now by God's perfect love and peace, she rests in His presence, free from pain and filled with everlasting joy.
Born in Hangzhou, China, Lily's life was a testament to faith, perseverance, generosity, and love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who was blessed to know her.
While building a successful career as a real estate broker, she became known not only for her professionalism and dedication but also for the genuine relationships she formed with clients, colleagues, and friends. She had a gift for making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.
Her Christian faith was the foundation of her life. A faithful member of her church community, Lily found great joy in worship, fellowship, and service. She was actively involved in the JOY Fellowship, where she developed deep relationships and encouraged others through her compassion and belief in God's love. Her faith inspired her commitment to caring for others.
She delighted in gathering loved ones together, celebrating milestones, and creating memories around the dinner table. She had a special talent for expressing love through hospitality and was happiest when treating family and friends to meals, sharing stories, laughter, and conversation. Whether offering a listening ear, a thoughtful word of advice, or simply her presence, Lily touched lives in meaningful ways.
Lily is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Lew; her son, Ryan Lew; her daughter, Felicia Lew; her grandsons, Eliot Lew and Noah Lew; and her brother, Tom Chen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chi-San Chen and Chu-Chun Chen.
While we mourn the loss of her physical presence, we take comfort in the faith that sustained her throughout her life and in the many memories she leaves behind. Her legacy lives on through the family she loved, the friendships she nurtured, the church community she served, and the countless acts of kindness that reflected her generous heart.
Lily's interment service will take place at Skylawn Memorial Park in Half Moon Bay on June 15, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on August 8, 2026, at San Francisco Bible Church in San Francisco.
Lily will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew her. We thank the Lord for her.
