The photo of Dr. Lillian's family was taken at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA in the spring of 1975. Charlene, Dr. Lillian, Helen and Mr. Herman Sung.
Mr. Herman Sung was my supervisor when we worked in the Electrical Engineering Branch (Code 404), U.S. Navy, WESTNAVFACENGCOM in San Bruno, CA. Mr. Sung invited me to his house in Millbrae, CA for a Chinese dinner not long after I joined the Navy engineering office fresh out of college (Denver University). Dr. Lillian's parents from Taiwan were living with them and her father, educated in Japan, was very fluent in Japanese, and our conversation was all in Japanese.
I feel nostalgic when I remember Dr. Lillian who passed not long ago.
