Lilia Valenzuela, daughter of Avelino and Nieves Valenzuela was born on September 4, 1954, In Mexicali, Mexico. She was a devoted preschool teacher's aide and a dedicated employee at Merrill's Packaging for over 30 years, Lilia was known for her strong work ethic, compassion, and generous spirit.
On May 19,2025, Lilia Valenzuela passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her loved ones and is now finally at rest.
She will be remembered for her big heart, her resilience, and her unyielding strength as a courageous fighter against cancer. Lilia was a beloved sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She is survived by her nine siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews, and godchildren who cherished her deeply.
Funeral services and a Mass in her honor will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church in San Mateo, California. Burial will follow at Skylawn Memorial Park in Half Moon Bay.
