Ms. Lilia Maria Martinez's Obituary
Our beautiful Mother, Lilia Maria Martinez, passed away in peace on November 30th of 2020 at 83 years of age. Mom was predeceased by Mother, M. Trinidad Perez Hernandez, and Father, Jose Romero. Preceding in death by 6 months, was her husband and companion of 54 loving years, Hector Manuel Martinez. Mom will be remembered as a loving and devoted Mother by her children Anna, Luis, Dolores, Hector Andres, and Eugenia. Her grandchildren were Christina, Carlos Jr., Antonio (Tony), and Sarah Jessica. She was a dear older sister to Ricardo (deceased), Carmen, Roberto (deceased), Susana, and Patricia.
Our Mother was a Registered Nurse for 36 years until she retired from Saint Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco, CA. She is fondly remembered by her friends and peers, as kind, a great teacher, and an elegant woman.
Raised by nuns, Mom devotedly attended Catholic service. Mom had a very sweet and pleasant nature. She enjoyed socializing, shopping, her horoscope, telenovelas, traveling, going for walks, and spending time with her husband.
Mom’s last 3 years were spent with dementia. Her warm spirit and happy personality never left her. She was always laughing and responding lovingly. This we will never forget.
Our Mother will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Service and interment for Lilia Maria Martinez were held privately.
