Leigh Ann Chu's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Leigh Ann Chu. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side on May 28, 2022. She was born in Macau and immigrated to the United States, where she became a long-time resident of San Francisco, CA. She is survived by her husband and children.
Leigh Ann had an immense passion for Cantonese opera. She loved being on stage and performed all over the Bay Area. She enjoyed spending time in the garden with her husband. She cherished the time spent with her family. She loved taking pictures and was always ready to smile for the camera, even when she was not feeling well. She continued to pursue her passions in life despite her declining health. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.
Leigh Ann is remembered with great love and affection by those who knew her.
A funeral service celebrating Leigh Ann’s life will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, CA on June 26th at 10am, followed by a reception for family and friends.
