Mr Lee was my close friend's husband. I only met him once while he was visiting the
Korean Consulate from San Francisco. It was at the Korean Center in San Jose.
He was very tall and very dignifying gentleman, quiet but with gentle smile. I always wanted to meet him again and introduce my dear husband. I thought they would make a very good friends each other. We never got that chance, but I felt like I knew him very well thru my friend's sharing daily story about him. And he cared about me a lot too.
My heart ached for sadness of my friend, Chung, what she had to go thru and endure. She was so lost in deep shock of loosing her husband.
He passed away in grace and honor, so respectfully, best I ever have ever seen in my life.
A very honorable and blessed special man he was. He left my friend. Chung, alone in this rather a new and still adjusting country, knowing that she is surrounded with loving family and friends. Mr. Lee had confidence in his wife that she will be strongly live rest of her life for herself and for her family sharing her love for them. Perhaps, on a double for his share too.
Rest In Peace Mr. Lee
