I've been going to Laurie for my hair for over 25 years. I am immensely sad to hear of her passing. Laurie was kind, funny, and generous. If I didn't have time to come in for a touch up, she'd make me a bowl to take home and do myself. She was also curious, intelligent and strong! She talked to me a lot about her life over the years and she overcame every hurdle that came her way. Laurie was one of the hardest working people I know. I will definitely miss her. I hope she's at peace among the angels.

Rosemary said it all. Laurie was a great stylist and colorist. She worked so hard to keep the business going and never got any assistance from anybody. She struggled but still kept her sense of humor. I am going to miss the conversations (tho they were mostly one sided since she really liked to talk). I will miss my friend immensely. The last text I got from her was on Christmas and she poured out her heart. See you on the other side Laurie. Love you!

Laurie was a creative and fabulous hairstylist! The best I ever had! She had a challenging life with no support or assistance. She gave her heart and soul to her business and often lived on very little. I will miss our conversations, her spirit of adventure and her focus to maintain the business she worked so diligently at over the years. She definitely was a kindred spirit! Laurie, see you on the other side!
