Lau, Wai Ching's Obituary
Lau, Wai Ching, age 97, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21st, 2019 at Washington Hospital in Fremont. She was born on June 10, 1921, in China. She married Lau, Sau Fung during 1941 in Hong Kong. Her husband preceded her in death in 2009. She was a devoted Catholic, who truly loved the Lord.Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as playing mahjong and spending precious time with her children and grandchildren. She was a master cook in the kitchen. Her Birthday, Chinese New Year and Christmas were her favorite times of the year. Her deceased father, Lai Tak Wing, and deceased mother, Chan Fook Chi, lived as a merchant and a teacher, respectively. She had twelve children and survived by eleven children, a brother, Lai Chi Sum, and a late brother, Lai Ho Kuan.Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her twelve children: Lau Fun Pui (deceased eldest son), Lily, Nancy, Anna, Mary, Angel, Rose, Agnes, Agatha, Angela, Natalia, and Joseph; six son-in-laws: Claude, Tenny, John, Francisco, Wayne, and Terry; two daughter-in-laws: Gloria & Josephine; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
