Larry Kong-Nien Yu's Obituary
Larry Kong-Nien Yu passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and relatives on September 23, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Larry is a longtime resident of Hayward. He was born on April 14th, 1926 in Shanghai China. He received a masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Alabama. Larry dedicated his life to Rosaline Yu, his wife of 72 years. Together they were partners in both life and business, managing "Yu Properties".
Larry is survived by his wife Rosaline, son-Benny, son-Andy, daughter-Shirley, seven grandkids and four great-grandkids. He enjoyed traveling, good food, and helping underpriviled students with his education foundation. He is a generous and caring husband, father, and friend with a wonderful and kind heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.
