Dearest Junior, My sincere condolences on the loss of your dear mother. What I remember most is your mother’s sweet smile. She was a kind and gentle person. I have fond memories of Aunt Kitty. When I was young, she took care of me and I always admired watching her read and write in Japanese. I was amazed that she could write all those symbols and they actually said something. I remember when she took us to the playground and I wanted to push your swing so she let me. You were a bundle of energy and it took both of us to keep up with you at the playground. She was a devoted wife and mother. My regret is that I didn’t spend more time with her. Her proudest achievement was you. Her face would light up when we asked how you were doing; it gave her the opportunity to share your latest adventure. She was a wonderful hostess when we visited. She will be missed by many people and I know it is a great loss for you and for all of us as well. Remember that we care and love you and we are all always here for you.
