Kin Foo Louie's Obituary
Kin Foo Louie, 71, passed away on July 11, 2025, with his loving wife, Helen, by his side. Kin was born on June 24, 1954, in China. In 1966, he immigrated to San Francisco with his mother, Choi You Oi, and his brothers James, Michael, and Kenneth. In later years, they were joined by his father, Fook Ping, and eldest brother, Wah Louie. Kin was the youngest of five boys.
Kin met Helen in 1979, and they married in 1983. They have been together ever since. From an early age, Kin loved cars. At 16, he began working at gas stations, learning to fix cars along the way. In 1986, his dream came true when he started his own business, Winston Auto Service, which he ran until his retirement in 2016.
Kin’ s interests included family, working on cars, camping, skiing, and spending time with friends —often over a cup of coffee at McDonald’s.
He is survived by his brothers Wah Louie, Mr. and Mrs. James Louie, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Louie, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.
