*Kazuko "Kay" Colleen Yindiphol's Obituary
Kazuko “Kay” Colleen Yindiphol passed away peacefully at her home in Redwood City, California, on July 25, 2025, just one day before her 74th birthday. Born in Tokyo, Japan on July 26, 1951. She married Kitti Yindiphol on November 17, 1971. They moved to the Bay Area in 1973, where she built a life rooted in dedication to family and community.
Kay brought a steady and caring presence to those around her. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, she was passionate and deeply committed to supporting her children’s interests and the things she loved, you could often find her volunteering with AYSO youth soccer, cheering on her favorite hockey teams and contributing her time helping out at the local cat rescue efforts—many of which led to new feline members of the household.
Kay valued family, giving back, and was always willing to sacrifice. Her efforts left a quiet but lasting impact on her family, friends and causes she cared about. Among her greatest sources of pride were her two grandchildren, whom she enjoyed spending time with and supporting in their early years.
She is survived by her husband, Kitti Yindiphol; her children, Kelley Tenny, Amy Yindiphol, and Jordan Yindiphol; her son-in-law, Sean Tenny; her grandchildren, Stella and Carter Tenny.
Kay will be cremated at Skylawn Memorial Park on July 31, 2025. A Burial at Sea will follow on August 3, 2025.
