For some reason, Kathy popped into my head today so I searched to see what she was up to these days. I was very sorry to read this news. She was my manager at the YMCA 20 years ago and she was a kind, fun, and energizing person to work with with. She was a source of kindness and friendship when I needed it as a new parent and I’ll never forget her!
I remember planning a surprise birthday for Kathy’s 40th with our senior fitness group. We had a cake shaped like a dumbell with ‘K’ in the Superman logo. Kathy was adored by her students.
