Kathleen Rose Browning's Obituary
Kathleen Rose Browning, aged 80, of San Bruno California died at Kaiser Hospital South San Francisco on February 20, 2023.
She was born on February 13, 1943 in San Rafael, California to Robert and Elizabeth Lozar. She graduated from Capuchino High School in 1960. She married Richard Browning on June 18, 1966 in Reno Nevada. Kathy retired from Provident Credit Union in Redwood City. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and a dear friend.
Kathy loved spending time with her family. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren’s accomplishments. She was always there to support them in their many creative endeavors. She spent many years supporting the Capuchino Band and going to their many performances with both her children and grandchildren. Spending time in the beautiful Tahoe area was one of her favorite places to visit. She would take her grandchildren out in the woods which she fondly named the “100-acre woods” looking for the perfect pinecones. Some of her best memories have been teaching her grandchildren her many hobbies like knitting, cooking, and gardening. She was a very strong and caring woman.
Kathy is survived by her children, Michael and his wife Heidi, Michelle and her husband Dwayne, her grandchildren Bryanna, Jesse, Amber and Juliette, her sisters Barbara Lozar, Fran Lozar, and Pat Ramos, her sister-in-law Sharon Logue, her niece Melissa, her nephew Stephen, and her Aunt Marjorie Wyatt
Proceeded in death by her husband Richard Browning, her mother, Elizabeth Lozar, her father Robert Lozar, her Uncle Albert Wyatt, her Aunt Katherine Young, her brother, Stephen Lozar, brother-in-law Albert Ramos Jr. and her cousin Michael Mariani. A service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:30 am at Skylawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy’s name to The American Cancer Society, Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation or the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
