Julie Leung's Obituary
Julie Leung was born in China on February 11, 1966 and lived 48 wonderful and loving years. Julie grew up with two other siblings; Helen and Haipang. As she was traveling through life, she met a lot of people and made a lot of lasting friendships. One of those friendships bloomed and flowered into something special.On June 1987 Stephen and Julie became partners in the journey through life. Stephen guided Julie to America and started a happy family. Together they had two children in whom they deeply loved. The loving mother was a culinary enthusiast and every dish she created became ever-lasting memories.Beauty can be translated into many things for different people, but for her, flowers was the definition of it. She often surrounded herself with fresh and dried bouquets of flowers which she artfully arranged.For many years Julie and Stephen worked in a nursery together and eventually even a restaurant.Misfortune befalls the family in 2002 as Julie was diagnosed with lung cancer. She battled the illness for twelve years and passed away on September 10, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones.Julie is deeply missed by her family and friends.Services will be held in her honor at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park in San Mateo, California on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in the Crystal Springs Chapel at 1:00pm.
