With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Julia del Carmen Martínez, who entered eternal rest on June 2, 2026, at the age of 82.
Born in Managua, Nicaragua, Julia later made her home in Daly City, California, where she was surrounded by the love of her family and community. Julia was a humble, compassionate, and devoted woman whose life was guided by her unwavering faith in God. She dedicated herself to serving the Lord, caring for her children, and supporting her church community with kindness, generosity, and a joyful spirit.
Julia had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcomed and loved. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, or provide comfort to those in need. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family. She expressed her love through her cooking, creating meals that brought family together and filled countless hearts and homes with warmth. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished beyond measure.
Julia's legacy is one of faith, selflessness, compassion, and unconditional love. Her gentle presence, wise guidance, and generous heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
She is lovingly survived by her beloved husband, José Eduardo Madriz, married for 63 years, and her four children: Carolina, Eduardo, Thesalia, and Mariela.
She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Erling, Lenin, Osmar, Alexander, Roberto, Wendy, Brisseida, Francesca, Christian, Jocelyn, Jahir, and Amira.
Her memory will continue to live on through her cherished great-grandchildren: Maria Fernanda, Steven, Luca, and Mateo.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Julia's faith has led her home to the presence of the Lord she faithfully served throughout her life.

Con profunda tristeza y un inmenso agradecimiento por una vida bellamente vivida, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Julia del Carmen Martínez, quien partió a su descanso eterno el 2 de junio de 2026, a la edad de 82 años.
Nacida en Managua, Nicaragua, Julia posteriormente hizo de Daly City, California, su hogar, donde estuvo rodeada del amor de su familia y su comunidad. Julia fue una mujer humilde, compasiva y entregada, cuya vida estuvo guiada por su firme fe en Dios. Dedicó su vida a servir al Señor, a cuidar de sus hijos y a apoyar a su comunidad de la iglesia con bondad, generosidad y un espíritu alegre.
Julia tenía un don especial para hacer que todos se sintieran bienvenidos y amados. Siempre estaba dispuesta a ayudar, ofrecer palabras de aliento o brindar consuelo a quienes lo necesitaban. Su memoria vivirá por siempre en sus queridos bisnietos: María Fernanda, Steven, Luca y Mateo. Aunque nuestros corazones están llenos de dolor, encontramos consuelo al saber que la fe de Julia la ha llevado al hogar eterno, a la presencia del Señor a quien sirvió fielmente durante toda su vida.
