Joseph Martinez's Obituary
On Friday, January 10, 2020 Joseph (Joe) Martinez passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, following a series of health complications.
Joe was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his children Randy (wife Vicky), Shawnee (husband Ron), his grandchildren Nichole, Kyle, Michelle and Josh (wife Heather and their children).
Joe grew up in Redwood City with his father Clayetano, mother Mary, and sisters Mary and Isabelle. Joe met Bobbie on a blind date and married in 1955 until Bobbie’s death in 2011.
He owned a roofing business until moving to Clear Lake in 1992 upon retirement. He loved retirement at the lake and enjoyed fishing and supporting his team the Raiders regardless of how many times they moved.
Joe was a kind man who enjoyed the simplicity of life. He will be remembered most for being devoted to his family and his dog Pepper who was his constant companion. He will forever be in our hearts and deeply missed to all who knew and loved him.
