Josefina Aguayo's Obituary
Josefina Aguayo Rivas of Moss Beach, California passed away peacefully on February 9, 2018 at the age of 68 years old.She was born in Mexico to Francisco Rivas Serrano and Ofelia Acosta Solis on March 17, 1949. She was one of 5 children.She married Miguel Aguayo on January 27, 1968 and were blessed to with 5 children.Josefina worked for Nurseryman’s Exchange for 30 years and lived in Half Moon Bay for 45 years. She enjoyed time with her family and was well liked and she got along with everyone. Cross-stitching as going to church kept her busy.Josefina is survived by her mother, Ofelia Acosta Solis, her husband, Miguel Aguayo of 50 years. Her children, Gabriela Aguilar (Jesus Aguilar); Alejandra Aguayo (Arturo Arellano); Francisco Aguayo (Reyna Perez); Beatriz Aguayo and Guadalupe Aguayo. Grandchildren, Alejandro Aguilar; Nicholas Aguilar, Miguel Angel Aguilar, Daniel Arellano, Juan Pablo Arellano and Mia Abundis. Siblings, Transito Aguayo, Jesus Rivas, Gregorio Rivas and Catalina Mata.Visitation/viewing services will be held on Friday, February 16 at Skylawn Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Church services will be held on Saturday, February 17 at Our Lady of the Pillar in Half Moon Bay at 9:30 a.m. Burial services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, California.She will be missed but will never be forgotten; always in our hearts.
