When someone we love dies, we mourn; and we mourn because we miss them. Thus, it is natural to mourn the death of our loved ones. However, please be comforted by the fact that Godââ?¬â?¢s Word [The Holy Bible] makes it clear that God did not originally intend for humans to die. In fact, the Bible indicates that he created the first human pair in perfection (Adam and Eve), placed them in an earthly paradise, and instructed them to have children; and extend their Paradise home earth wide. They would die only if they disobeyed his instructions [please read Genesis 1:28; 2:15-17, Genesis 3:19], which they unfortunately did; and passed their sin and its consequence, death, on to their offspringââ?¬â?Romans 5:12. But, after sin and death entered the world, Almighty God revealed that it was his purpose that the dead be restored to life by means of a resurrection. Even Jesus Christ himself said: ââ?¬Å?Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.ââ?¬Âââ?¬â?John 5: 28, 29. Hence, may you look to God for comfort at this stressful time in your life; and trust in him to allow you to experience the resurrection of your loved one at a time when there will be no more sickness or death [Revelation 21:3,4].##imported-begin##Clifford Watts##imported-end##
