Jose Roberto Molina's Obituary
Jose Roberto Molina (Bob) peacefully passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at age 92. Bob was born in El Salvador and immigrated to the United States at 14 years of age. He proudly became a USA citizen in 1950 and worked in the hotel industry for 42 years in the San Francisco Bay area. Bob honorably served the United States of America by joining the National Guard. He enjoyed singing, dancing, boxing and sports, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with all of his family.
Bob was a devoted husband and is survived by his wife, Gail, of 52 years. He was a loving father to his five children Norma (Angel), Patty, Liza (Jeff), Rob, and Rich (Diane). A proud grandfather to Rolando, Erika, Rosanna, Jeremy, Angel, Briana, Fiona, Olivia, Grace, and Ben. Bob's nine great grandchildren are Ashland, Marisah, Jenna, Hannah, Lilly, Leandro, Alyssa, Adrian, and Lailah. He is survived by his sister Ruth, his brother Alejandro, his sisters-in-law Suzie (Mitch), Julie and Linda, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his mother Maria Lidia, father Jose Salvador, sisters Gladys, Elsie and Alicia, brother Salvador, and daughter-in-law Angela. Bob's legacy is one of integrity, family, and love. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park in Half Moon Bay on Saturday, March 22, at 10:00 am.
