Jose Aguinaldo Alejo Jr.'s Obituary
Jose Alejo, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 13, 2016. He was 82 years old. He passed away surrounded by his family in his hometown of Vallejo where he resided for the past 46 years.Jose was born on January 4, 1934 in Pasuquin Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Jose and Remigia Alejo. He was predeceased by both parents and his siblings, Corazon and Adoracion. He was married to Augustina Alejo for 56 years until his death. He graduated in Manila from National University and attained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He traveled abroad and worked on global projects. He worked primarily at Bechtel Power Engineering Company for over 20 years as a lead designer.He was devoted to his church and community, assisting in various charities and causes. He traveled to Ethiopia and the Philippines performing mission work. More recently, as a member of First Baptist Church, Vallejo, he helped feed the homeless and was dedicated to spreading the gospel.He is survived by his wife, Augustina; daughter, Ruth; daughter, Joyce (Greg Stone); son, Alex (Eva); daughter, Frenchie (Ron Laron); and daughter, Jane. He also leaves behind his loving grandchildren: Mark, Alex Jr., Aaron, Adriana and Jordan. He was predeceased by his son, Carmelito.Viewing services will be held on Thursday, November 17th from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m.; and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 18th starting at 12:30 p.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, CA.Thank you to family, extended family, and friends for your condolences and prayers.
