Jonathan Flores, lovingly known as JJ, Jon, Jon Jon, or Jonny. January 14, 1999 – September 5, 2025
With deep love and sadness, we remember Jonathan Flores who has left us. Jonathan’s peaceful passing was on September 5th, 2025, in Fremont, California, at the age of 26.
Born on January 14, 1999, in Burlingame, CA, Jonathan Flores was the beloved son of Rosa Sanchez and Helio Flores. He spent his childhood in San Mateo and graduated from San Mateo High School. Though he stepped into the workforce after graduation, his true passion was entrepreneurship.
Jonathan leaves behind his devoted parents, Rosa Sanchez and Helio Flores, and his beloved siblings: Elio, Alicia, Shandra, Alexander Flores, and Lorena Sanchez. He was a proud uncle to Faith, Jaylah, Badiño, Danny, and Laura whom he adored dearly and brought immense joy to his life. Jonathan's presence will be deeply missed by his entire family and all who knew him.
Jonathan was known for his humor, unwavering loyalty, and relentless perseverance. He was a lifelong learner with a passion for history, especially the rich stories of the Bay Area.
He found peace outdoors, whether hiking, fishing, or going on hunting trips with his dad and brothers. Jonathan had a way of making lasting impressions, his honesty, strength, and leadership were unmatched. His mom, Rosa, was his hero, and her strength shaped the man he became. Jonathan lived with purpose, and that purpose will continue to live through those who loved him.
A private memorial service will be held for immediate family. Friends and extended loved ones are invited to attend the burial on September 22nd, 2025, at 2:00pm to pay their respects and say their final goodbyes.
The Flores family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown during this time of mourning.
