"Mr. Jensen" (still hard to call him "John") was a wry, quiet, and deeply intelligent man. At least that's how I will always remember him, with the initial impressions of a 3-4 year old girl. I learned to appreciate Porsches thanks to his introduction, and even now, 50 years later, I've never been able to look at one without thinking of him. Many years later, he shared his love of wine with me, and even gave me a few tips on a few of a favorites from Napa.
I remember fondly his collection of political campaign buttons, going all the way back, if memory serves, to his "I Like Ike" pin. He once walked me through several of them and it was a quick history lesson with an interesting twist. Here's to you, Mr. Jensen, with a glass of red in my hand, a tear in my eye, and a smile on my face!~Anne (Sargent) Price
