Jeanne Marie Roberts' Obituary
Jeanne Marie Roberts (Browne) age 84, died of PDD Parkinson’s Disease & Dementia on February 25, 2022 in Daly City, CA. Jeanne is survived by her husband Norm E. Roberts of SSF, CA. Together they shared 58 years of marriage on 12/28/21. Her maiden family of San Bruno, CA; sisters Nancy & Jolynn, brothers Bob, Bill, John, Phil and Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. Rupert R. Browne and Adelaide E. H. Browne of San Bruno. And brothers James H. Browne, Thomas W. Browne, nephews Thomas J. Browne, Timothy W. Bommarito, Evan Ryan Tara of Woodlands, Texas.
Jeanne Marie Roberts was born on January 13, 1938 in Baguio, Philippines. The family endured WWII until May of 1945 when the Browne family immigrated to the USA as US citizens. In 1956 Jeanne Marie graduated from Capuchino High School in San Bruno. In 1957 she was named winner of the Miss San Bruno Beauty Contest. She was a great family member and a loving sister. She married soon after and was married in 1964. She was a Mother to many nieces & nephews. The couple had no children but instead raised chow dogs. She accepted her first employment with E.I. Dupont Paint Company in SSF, CA and worked there for over 30 years. She was a determined employee for the majority of her life. Jeanne worked at Provident Credit Union for 10 years. She finally retired from See’s Candies, SSF, CA after a working career which spanned over 60 years. She thoroughly enjoyed all family Mahjong games and attended all seven brother’s athletic careers as much as she could. Jeanne loved football (Joe Montana) and the Giants (Barry bonds). Her family & friends will always remember her as the most loving, dedicated family member.
A funeral mass is scheduled for March 14, 2022 at the St. Bruno’s Church at 12:00pm, in San Bruno, CA. 94066. A reception will follow after the burial at Skylawn Cemetery in San Mateo, CA.
