Jeanne Cook's Obituary
Jeanne Cook, 76¸ of Burlingame, CA, died at her home on December 8. 2011.She was born on Feb. 11, 1935, to Howard and Juanita Barrusch, of San Mateo. She attended Turnbull Elementary School, Borel School, and graduated from San Mateo High School. She was married to Gerald C. Cook, Jr. for 58 years.Mrs. Cook lived with her family in the Bay Area all her life. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Alves, grandchildren Sonja Melo and Alejandro Madera, and two great grand-daughters Shealyn and Delaney Melo, and by her sister Verna Barrusch Schaffer.A funeral service will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park, Highway 92 and Skyline Blvd, San Mateo, on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 12:00 noon.Donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society and to Hospice San Mateo.
