Jason Simpson, 41, of Dallas, Texas passed peacefully in San Francisco, California on Tuesday, December 18, 2012.He was born on November 14, 1971 in New York, New York, being the beloved son of Neal and Joyce Simpson of Bartonsville, Pennsylvania.Jason was the Assistant Vice President for Sponsorships at AT&T in Dallas, Texas. He was a 1989 honors graduate of Stroudsburg High School in PA and also graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of California at Berkeley. Jason went on to receive his Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. His position as Assistant Vice President allowed him to collaborate with many national organizations including the: USA Swimming and Diving Association, Formula One and NASCAR, USA Olympic Team, Masters at Augusta, US Open at Pebble Beach, USA Gymnastics, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, National Football League, and Major League Soccer, among others.His favorite pastimes were traveling, camping, reading, snorkeling, video gaming, sports, attending theatre and book collecting.Surviving is his wife, Sylvia Tong of Dallas, TX, his mother and father, Neal and Joyce Simpson of Bartonsville, PA, parents in law, Sharon and Shou-yu Tong, of San Diego, CA, brother-in-law Michael Tong, of San Jose, CA his aunts, Sandra Bell of Harrisburg, PA, Barbra Webster of Gaithersburg, MD, Anita Hunt of Easton, PA, his uncles, David Brownbill of NY, NY, Ken Morrison (Brenda) of Mays Landing, NJ, cousins, Jarvis Walwyn (LaShawn) of Southington, CT, Chris (Nichelle) Hunt of Bethlehem, PA and many other relatives and friends.A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Route 35 at Highway 92, San Mateo, CA. An additional service will also be held in Pennsylvania at a future date.
