James Shu Zun Keh's Obituary
Resident of Roseville, CaliforniaJames Keh was born in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 1, 1956 to Herbert S.K. Keh and Ching Ming (Wong) Keh. He lived in Hong Kong for five years before coming to the United States in 1967 and settling in San Mateo, CA. He met his beloved wife Terry in 1975. They were married on May 1, 1977 in Burlingame, CA and settled in Campbell, CA. He graduated from the Santa Clara County Sheriffs Police Academy in 1990. James began his career in the automotive industry and purchased his first automotive repair facility in June 1979 called Chucks Automotive/Radiator and Auto Detailing. He was very involved with the City of Campbell and was a distinguished Kiwanis Club president. He was also a member of the Campbell Chamber of Commerce, the Santa Clara County Sheriff Advisory Board, and several other committees that included the re-election of Congressman Norman Mineta as well as many other elected officials. He simultaneously ran three successful corporations: Chucks Automotive, Bascom Auto Electric, and Auto Nav 2000. He moved to Roseville, CA with a unique vision of combining his hobby and his love of teaching and created a new business, Virtual Safe Shot.He was a mentor to many, had an incredible sense of humor and loved to tell stories of his past adventures. He was a thrill-seeker who loved motorcycles, drag racing, shooting and sky diving. He also enjoyed gardening, caring for his koi, cooking his mother’s recipes and going to the movies. James loved spending time with his family, friends, his beloved dog Storm, and sharing his life on Facebook.James was preceded in death by his father, Herbert S.K. Keh, and his mother, Ching Ming (Wong) Keh Habu. He is survived by his wife, Terry Keh, daughters Michelle Keh-Steiner (Sean Steiner) and Jennifer Keh (Jamie Miller), grandchildren James Miller, Jennah Perez, Juliet Roman, Dominic Steiner and Madelyn Steiner, and sisters Helen Canevari and Dorothy Quan. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.Memorial service and interment will be at 10:00 A.M. Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Sky Lawn Memorial Park, Hwy 92 at Skyline Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94402.In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in his memory to the American Heart Association, P.O.
