Jim, called Jimbo by many, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 22, 2024. Born February 13, 1951, Jim lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched the lives of many people along the way.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry and four siblings, Alan Simmons, Bill Simmons, Pat Jackson and Nancy Nelson.
Jim studied at Skylawn College and College of San Mateo. He retired after 22 years at Tesora Golden Eagle Refinery, where he was a Shipping Department Operator and Pipe Fitter.
