James Jerrold Kollmann's Obituary
James Jerrold Kollmann was born in San Diego, California, on February 11, 1966. He was a loving son to Carmen and Glenn Kollmann, and stepfather, Doug Dodds. He was a wonderful brother and is survived by his siblings Jackie, Joe, Mary, and Douglas.
Jim filled the world with his love, kindness and smile. He was known for his love of bowling, dancing, Happy Hour, and beautiful coloring! He believed in the lyrics of one of his favorite songs, "Don't Worry, Be Happy!"
In his final years, Jim lived with his sister Jackie Tinghitella in Half Monn Bay, California. He enjoyed many HMB activities, parades, the pumpkin patch, paint nights, and Christmas tree farms! He especially enjoyed a night out on the town for dinner and dancing.
After two months of increasing health concerns, Jim passed peacefully at home on December 8, 2024. His warm smile and hugs will be greatly missed by family and many friends. Jim was a special light in the world!
Mass will be celebrated for James at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church in Antioch, California where he was an active parish member for many years serving as a eucharistic minister, member of the Knights of Colombus, and Religious Education participant.
Donations in his name may be made to Commercial Support Services in Antioch, California where James worked and had many wonderful friends for much of his adult life.
