Jacqueline Claire Hermann's Obituary
Jacqueline Claire Davis Hermann, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Tuesday, May 4 at her home in Moss Beach, CA at the age of 93. She was born on May 18, 1927 in Oakland, CA and lived in the San Francisco Bay area all her life, with the exception of two years in Canton, Ohio. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul Carl Hermann, and son, Bradley Emil Hermann. She is survived by one daughter, Lauren Faith Hoffmann (Georges), two sons, Paul Davis Hermann (Sharon) and Bruce Walter Hermann (Margaret), and daughter-in-law Yvonne Hermann, as well as nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Faith Guthmiller (Melroy) of Sacramento, CA. Until her very last day, Jacqueline was involved with and enjoyed constant contact with her loving family and many friends.
Donations in her memory may be made to any charity of choice. Organizations with special significance to Jacqueline were the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, Moss Beach, CA (supported by gifts to the San Mateo County Parks & Recreation Foundation), Coastside Child Development Center, Half Moon Bay, CA, Senior Coastsiders, Half Moon Bay, CA and the Half Moon Bay Public Library (supported by gifts to the Foundation for San Mateo County Libraries for the benefit of the Half Moon Bay Public Library).
