Jacqueline Collins' Obituary
Jacqueline Francis CollinsSeptember 8, 1937 – March 24, 2012 After a short battle with Leukemia, Jacqueline Francis Collins passed away peacefully on March 24, 2012. She was at home at her daughter's house in San Carlos, California, surrounded by her family that loved her ever so dearly.Jacque was the best Mother and Grandmother in the world – she loved and adored her children and grandchildren! Jacque was a single mother and provider for 5 children. Our mom had immense strength and perseverance. She was determined to make the best life possible for her children. Our mom was a kind, loving and very compassionate person. She always saw the best in people and always extended herself in an effort to help others less fortunate. Jacque loved her dog Faithful, who was always by her side. Jacque was a successful and hard working business woman. Up until her diagnosis in mid-February, she continued to run her own business successfully in Oceanside, California, even at the age of 74. Jacque owned and ran a consignment store for several years and she loved collecting antiques and paintings and sharing her deep knowledge of them with family and friends. Our mom taught all of her children to be kind, compassionate people and always offered us the best advice. She was loved dearly by everyone! She is now our Beautiful Angel in Heaven watching over us! Jacque is survived by her children, Diane & Peter Bouskos, Steve & Mary Collins, Wendy & Dan Estreicher, Philip Collins & Donna Collins; her 9 grandchildren, Andria Bouskos, Adam Bouskos, Derek Bouskos, Cory Bouskos, Christopher Collins, David Collins, Hillary Estreicher, Michael Collins & Gregory Collins; her sister, Jean Barney; nieces and nephews Brian Barney, Michael Barney and Lynn Hoyer; and many cousins. We all cherish all of the wonderful memories she left for us. Private funeral services will be held for Jacque at Skylawn Memorial Park on Saturday, March 31, 2012.
