Ivy Marie Silva's Obituary
Ivy Marie Silva, aged 20 months, passed away in her mother’s arms while surrounded by family at Kaiser Medical Center in Oakland, CA on May 15, 2019. Although diagnosed with a Mitochondrial disease at age six months and given a few months to live, Ivy Marie fought her condition bravely. Her infectious smile and heartwarming laugh, which brought joy and happiness to all who met her will be missed.Ivy Marie is survived by her parents Filipe and Jennifer Silva, her three siblings Isabel Maia, Noah and Iliana Madison, her maternal grandparents Rolando and Aludia Lina, and her fraternal grandfather Jose Silva. Ivy Marie was preceded in death by her grandmother Alzira Silva.Arrangements have been entrusted to Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Highway 92 @ Skyline Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94402 650-349-4411. Viewing times have been scheduled for May 24 and 25 from 4PM to 8PM with a celebration of life service and reception on May 28 from 10AM to 2PM.
