Isaiah Sanchez's Obituary
ISAIAH SANCHEZ
OCT 22, 1985 – DEC 18, 2025
Isaiah my son likes to go by his nickname “Ice Kat” born in San Francisco, Ca and raised most of his life in South San Francisco with his brothers Dario, Jeremiah and his three sisters Patricia, Caitlyn and Nicole. Ice Kat passed on Thursday, December 18, 2025 in San Francisco. Since his birth, he was always a sweet and happy child. As he matured, he remained humble, respectful, and down to earth. As his mother, I am grateful for the 40 years we shared, even though his passing is deeply painful. Isaiah believed in Christ and lived as a man of faith, and I find comfort knowing that he is now with God, where perfection and peace await him.
He was my constant companion my source of strength and purpose to live, He was there for me as I was there for him. He was my going out buddy, my daily concern always supporting me through every challenge, when his illness became worse, I started to think, “what will I do without him”, But I knew this day would come and there was no way to prepare or to face this fact of life, and that was a blow to my heart. He always prayed to God, and although his time here wasn’t perfect, with the Lord it was. I was grateful to have him a short 40 years. The best reward for me as his mom was to hear people of all walks of life express themselves about him, as being respectful and a kind human being. Although losing a child is unimaginable, I find peace knowing he will be with God.
Though life was challenging for him, and I believe he is now with God, at peace in His kingdom. Isaiah’s deep faith in Christ gave him hope for eternal life, as expressed in 1 Thessalonians4:16, NKJV, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an Archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.” Amen.
