Irma M. Saraceno's Obituary
Born December 11, 1924 in San Francisco, CA; entered into eternal life October 14, 2014 surrounded by her daughters and youngest sister, Susan. Irma, known affectionately as “Nonna”, is survived by her sisters, Susan Molinari and Mary Ellison. She also leaves three daughters, Rachelle Quinn (Jeff), Renee O’Brien (Bill), and Rosemary Saraceno, as well as four grandchildren, Michael Quinn (Jessica), Stephen O’Brien (Julianne), Paul O’Brien, Annie Troy (Tim), and four great grandchildren, Christopher, Jacob, and Nathaniel Troy and Max Quinn. Nonna’s favorite pastime was cooking for her family. Her pasta and gravy was a favorite among the grandchildren! The Saraceno household was known to be a centering spot where all came together on football Sundays, holidays, and summertime afternoons to share a meal, some laughter, and of course, to listen to Nonno’s never-ending stories. Through it all, Nonna remained quietly in the background, all the while beaming with pride over the pleasure of having her family around her.Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 1721 Hillside Drive, Burlingame, CA, 94010, on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 3PM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 10AM.
