Henry "Rico" Dalmau's Obituary
Henry Dalmau Known as Rico by his friends and family, passed away on Feb. 8, 2018. He is survived by his wife Gloria of 42 years, three sons Kirtus, Kenneth, Paul, and daughter Terri. Grandsons, Ti, Brent, Paul, Mason, Great grandchildren, Taylor, Lacy, Katy, Devin. Also three step children, four grandchildren and seven Great grandchildren.Rico was born and raised in San Francisco. Graduated from Balboa high in 1951. Always worked in some sort of trade related to food in San Francisco. He was a butcher, produce buyer and owned a grocery store in San Francisco. He then settled into the bread business and spent the next forty years in the French Bread industry in San Francisco. He worked as a bread driver salesman, supervisor, and sales manager for Boudin then Colombo French Bread. Rico truly enjoyed his work.He had a passion for building, designing, flying and teaching radio control model air craft. Also interested in anything that had to do with aviation and its history.After retiring from the bread business Rico worked at J & M Hobby HouseIn San Carlos up until his passing. Rico had many other interests during hisLife and was an interesting story teller. He will be missed by all who knew him.A celebration of his life will be Friday April 20 in the Pacific Chapel at Sky Lawn Memorial Park (Hwy 92 at Skylawn Blvd. San Mateo CA. 94402 650-227-3142, San Mateo at 11:00 AM.
