1934-2021
Helen Ann Byrne-LeBlanc left us on July 27th, 2021 in Pleasanton, CA. She was 87 years old.
She was a Wonderful and Beautiful Mom, and Devoted wife of 68 years to our late Father Louis LeBlanc who preceded her passing in April of 2020.
She will be missed by her grateful and Loving children: Rita LeBlanc Loureiro, Mitch LeBlanc, his wife Joanna Mason LeBlanc, Ricci LeBlanc, and his wife Victoria Bonde LeBlanc.
“Grama Helen” was so extremely proud of her 7 grandchildren: Sabrina, Adriana, Joey, Jensen, Alexa, Lindsay, Colin, and her 4 great grandsons Julian, Cruz, Sawyer, and Palmer.
Mom was born in San Francisco, California on May 2nd 1934 to George A.Byrne and Elsie Clara Oloizia. “Sis” was preceded in passing by her older sister Betty Jean Gaefe of Concord, California, and Cross Street Neighbor/best friend forever; Mildred “Millie” Glass of San Mateo, California.
Mom graduated in 1952 from Mission High School in San Francisco where she met her first and only Love, Our Dad, Lou. She cherished her family, long time friends, and living in her first home with Dad in San Mateo California for over 65 years. She worked for over 20 years at Mills Peninsula Hospital in San Mateo as a secretary in the Nursing Administration Office. She also volunteered at Mills Peninsula for many years in to her Eighties. Mom loved traveling and was able to go to many far off places on the globe. She was an excellent Bowler and could have gone Professional.
So many of you who knew Mom have prayed, sent kind words & memories and we, her family; thank you so very much. Please always keep Mom and Dad in your hearts.
At Skylawn Memorial Park and Cemetery(Highway 92 and Skyline Blvd San Mateo, CA) Sunday August 8th, 2021 A Private Family Viewing will be held at 10:00am, then public viewing and prayer service at 10:40am. Internment at 12:00 Noon . Directly following, A Celebration of Life for Both Mom and Dad will be held at the Reception Center.
