Burlingame- Gerald C. Cook Jr., 83, also affectionately known as Cookie or Gerry Passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Monday February 13 of Renal Failure.Gerry was born in San Francisco on November 5th 1933 to Gerald Sr. and Margaret Cook.On September 12 1953 Gerry was Married to his beautiful wife Norma Jeanne Cook.He served proudly in the Navy and retired from the City of San Mateo after more than 30 years. After retirement he moved into politics and served as the Mayor of Channing Road until he passed away.Over the years he enjoyed working on and racing cars, as well as Fishing, Hunting and Camping.Gerry is survived by his daughter Kimberly Alves, his grand children Alex Madera and Sonja Melo and his great grand children Shealyn and Delaney Melo.
