George Peter Geranios' Obituary
George Peter Geranios passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 68. He is survived by his children Jeanette, Rosie, Nicholas, daughter-in law Shawna Geranios, and his eight grandchildren Caitlin, Cassandra, Terrance, Jasper, Nicholas, Tessie, Peter and Alethea, and has joined his first born Son, Peter in heaven.
George was born in Los Angeles, CA to Peter and Tessie Geranios who raised him in the Greek Orthodox faith. He was a true patriot who loved freedom and the United States of America, was an advocate for 2nd amendment rights not to be infringed, and a proud member of Gun owners of America. George is a retired Teamster truck driver, who loved his family and friends dearly, and is known for having the best country western parties; he loved riding his motorcycle, politics, duck hunting, & had a heart bigger than life.
Services will take place at Skylawn Memorial Park, Monday January 16, Visitation 5:30pm, Trisagion Service 6:00pm, Funeral service Jan 17, 10:00 am at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross in Belmont. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross.
